Having your daddy call and tell you that your favorite professors have been asking about you because they want to know how you are doing and think  you should come talk to them.

Which reminds me for the umpteenth time that I've been meaning to e-mail some of my grad school profs and let them know how I'm doing at my job. And that I have a job.

Yeah. It also makes me feel better about that I do need to contact them about recommendations (I'd asked last year and then sort of disappeared off into crisis land and didn't end up applying).

But honestly it is making my day to know they think about me.

Yeah. I definitely needed it, and then I got to spend the evening with my dad and we read some Beowulf together which was like a billion times better than reading it to myself.

Not really... just sort of steel myself against it.

I am jealous of the kitty... mine decided to wake me up half an hour early this morning and then proceeded to lead me around the house as if there was something urgent that needed to be taken care of.

Well originally I woke up when boyfriend had to go to work at like 4:30 this morning and he brought me cat.

Well he had to be at work at 5AM. We went to bed around 10 so it's like 6 hours.

Yeah... well you adapt to the schedule you need to. I used to stay up late but hen you have to get up in the morning that eventually gets old.

Yeah that is definetly true, I am still working on getting my schedule right, at the moment it is seriously off, but I am still job hunting, once I find something I will iron out my schedule a bit more.

There were whole semesters where I had to be out of the house by 6AM in college but I stayed up to ridiculous hours... I guess i am getting old because I can't do it anymore.

Awwww, not old, just more sensible ^__^ If I had to be out of the house by 6 I so would not be able to stay up till 2 in the morning, and I am turning 21 in 3 months, I think It has nothing to do with age

I don't actually mean age... I just mean like where I am in life. I used to be a lot more exciting than I am now. And I am happier really but sometimes I feel like I've become boring and mundane.

Aww, I am no good at that sort of thing, picking gifts I mean, it's hard, but I figure picking stuff for my baby brother is easy because he is six, and my parents are always good with chocolate. This will be the first year I will actually be able to get my friends gifts, so that will be interesting.

I swear my wedding registry would have every season of new Who at the top of the list..... not my fault each season is 100 bucks
