Yeah, probably not. Like, I have always wanted a ferret, in theory, but we have always had cats so even if I could afford one that would be a terribly bad idea
Oh, I want a puppy, my number one pet is a puppy, but I like the other things, I have stuffed frogs and snakes and hippos and sheep and monkeys, (I think I may be lacking in elephants for some reason, I have monkey earrings and necklaces, and frog earrings and pins. I love lots of animals, but what I want more than anything is a puppy. (Oh, and I adore mice, cutest things in the world)
We have two cats and they are cut and fluffy and dumb, and I love them, but they won't let me snuggle them, it's sad. I miss my old kitty. But yeah, can't have a puppy now, but someday I will have my own place and I will have a puppy ^__^

My roommate sometimes sits at the computer wrapped in a blanket and then the cat curls up in his lap. But usually the only time I am wrapped up in blankets is when I am in bed. Though I have noticed the past few days that when I wake up my bed has cats on it ^__^
Yes, they love when you are still. Mine love my boyfriend better than me because he sits still and has a good lap for sitting in when he is at the computer. Cats like warm.

Also Frogs fail because they are not fuzzy. Fuzzy is the most important aspect of pets being cute.
