On the first day of Hanukkah, my true love gave to me...

So a disclaimer here:
I hate loot lists. They are vile and materialistic and make people feel bad about themselves and class or whatever other differences that mean some people are raking in thousands of dollars in gifts and others less than a hundred.
This is not a loot list... well not exactly. This is me showing off the things my boyfriend got for me this holiday season, which probably is just as bad but I cannot resist. To fully understand my excitement you have to understand that this is our first December together and that previous to Jeremy I'd never ever had a guy I was involved with really give me anything. I've started to get used to the idea that Jeremy is generous and loving and shows it in material as well as immaterial ways... but he really outdid himself this time.

Before Hanukkah Even Started He Could Not Resist Giving Me The Veronica Mars Season 3 DVDs, which completed my set (actually he bought me Season 2 as well...mmmm Logan/Weevil).

On the first night of Hanukkah my darling gave to me: Bones Season 2 DVDs (which he bought the day it came out even though I told him I could wait to find a good deal at Target in a few months).

He was planning to, but couldn't, wait until the last night of Hanukkah to give me the beautiful ipod nano in gunmetal (he had to go searching to find the color I wanted) which was to be my main gift. I have wanted an ipod for years but would never buy myself one.

Knowing how much I wanted it, Jeremy had the Angel Cube shipped overnight so that it would arrive on Christmas Eve, since none of our local stores had it in.

And last but not least, on Christmas morning I received a beautiful diamond and white gold necklace (which apparently he decided to get me on top of everything else). This is the second piece of jewelry Jeremy has gotten me (the first being an amethyst bracelet that is also lovely) and something I will be happy to wear every day, whether at work or going to a fancy party.
My boyfriend loves me, and while gifts aren't the only or most important way he shows it... they sure are nice and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now.

I love watching Once More With Feeling far more often than is healthy. The Angel Cube Does indeed sit next to Babylon 5 (although seasons 1 and 2 are currently not on the shelf, once is loaned out and the other is being watched). They are Alphabetical by show, though I would be tempted to put the Buffy Box next to it if/when we get it.
They really are awesome and thank you for telling me I deserve them... sometimes I feel like I don't.
Those are awesome. WE ALSO GOT A TOASTER from my grandparents! Coincidence? I think not.
