AMEN AND GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
yeah...no kidding. my breasts and my bank account are thankful

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
It's bad enough that they never make anything cute in the larger sizes. Charging us extra is just like WTF.

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly...We get the plain old ugly white bra that your grandma would wear and have to pay more for it.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly. Which is why whenever I go on a diet my real motivation is hoping that my boobs will shrink as a result and I can squeeze back into the cute bras.

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
haha...thankfully, that is the first thing i loose`

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ironically I never do. But I keep thinking that if I lose more weight at some point I would have to start right?

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly. The last thing for me to lose, which makes Jesse happy is my butt. I've had it since at least the 4th grade...

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
My thighs tend to be the thing to expand/shrink (luckily Jeremy is also fond of my birthing hips)

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. If he didn't we'd be in serious trouble.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Because I am always going to have that ass and hips and thighs... I had it when I was 105 lbs for goodness sake.

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I did as well. THe boobs only showed up after I had ali.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Hah! Mine showed up in like Junior High, although they've continued to expand since then.

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
hehe...gotta love puberty!

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. My boyfriend was like his current height (over 6 feet) by the time he was 10.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Needless to say he had an advantage in basketball.

[identity profile] cyn-ful.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
That he would.

[identity profile] caitiedidit.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. I've always kind of thought that the lower prices on my A-cups were sort of like a consolation prize.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
For not having back pain, looking cute instead of slutty, and being able to find a bra that you don't fall out of?

[identity profile] caitiedidit.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess it's true what they say about the grass always being greener, for both of us! I'd love to have nicer curves and am forever not filling out shirts and dresses I would love to be able to wear.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
It really is. I'd love for my shirts to not pull (seriously I cannot find a button up that doesn't gap as a result) and end up too short.

[identity profile] spectralbovine.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I never realized there was a pricing gradient! Huh.

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, well more of two steps: normal and then extra expensive for anything about a C.

[identity profile] mojotastic.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
That's awesome! It's not bad enough that button ups are my worst enemy but I have to pay more too? Yay!

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-29 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed. So very much agreed.

i'm still not satisfied!

[identity profile] hella-em.livejournal.com 2008-01-30 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
it's still an injustice that bras are so expensive - especially since you can rarely find the larger ones at places like target and (shudder) walmart (i had to use it as this article is about a company owned by wallymart) and have to go to lingere shops and such which are always far too overpriced considering they SHOULD be replaced every 3 months or whatever.

Re: i'm still not satisfied!

[identity profile] lodessa.livejournal.com 2008-01-30 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
The bra industry is evil. They don't make the size I need and when they do it is both ugly and expensive.
