Awesome! How cool that he got you exactly what you wanted with the DVDs and iPod, and the pendant is very lovely! (I think my mother has a similar one, and she wears it all the time, because as you said, it's very versatile).
(On the 'loot lists' thing -- I've actually never thought of it as a showing off thing. When I write down 'loot lists', it's mostly to remind me who gave what, also not for any nefarious purpose, just because a couple of months later I end up trying to remember for various random reasons, how I came by a certain object or how long I've had it, stuff like that.)
