lodessa: lol (soiaf-wildling)
So this morning (remembering how useless I was on Tuesday due to exhaustion) I decided to give not getting up at 3:45 and getting a ride with Jeremy and instead getting up at 6:30 to catch the 7:20 bus and then walk a couple miles a try again. I got up at 7:30 instead. Still I figured I just needed to persist. I got dressed and my stuff together and was there in plenty of time to reach the 8:20 bus (god I hate break schedule). Unfortunately I was reading on the bus, lost track of where we were and accidentally got off really early. And I couldn't even just continue in the path the bus was going because the sidewalk disappears there. The next bus wasn't for another hour. So I had to backtrack a little (I had gone all the way east (in fact too far east) and still had to go south. I walked back west to a road that I knew went in the right general direction (despite curving back east) and started to walk south. I kept searching for a better option that would not take me further out of my way and found it in a road I knew intersected a bunch of the more direct north-south roads. Better yet, I took a chance on a greenbelt that I suspected would lead me right through the housing developments to within a block or two of my work and it actually led me right to my parking lot. So I was an hour late, but considering I didn't leave the house until I was already supposed to be here and that I messed up so badly it is not so bad. Especially since I think that the way I went might actually be better than the one I had planned on. All things considered I am seriously considering just walking to work in the future. I don't think it would take any longer than the hour early I need to leave for the bus method and I really do need more exercise.

Yesterday we learned that my flist would prefer to live in Dorne, primarily because they are female and think gender issues would be better there than elsewhere. Winterfell was the second most popular choice. Riverrun, King's Landing, and Casterly Rock tied for 3rd. Highgarden, The Vale, and Oldtown each had one person wanting to live there.

Almost none of you have watched Babylon 5 which is bad.

And almost all of you picked Zora Neale Huston over Richard Wright, demonstrating I am right to have you as my friends.
