shakanaman and I were talking about mythological incest, and we kept somehow making Apollo/Artemis a paring... even though the idea was other fandom characters as canon incesty myths. Then we started discussing the possiblity of subtext, what with the whole thing about Apollo getting upset when Artemis had a thing for Orion and tricking her into killing him and all.


Simon is so the sun and River so very much the moon.

The moral of greek myths is that gods are allowed to commit incest but mortals aren't.

yup, i don' t even remember where this started, really, except kara/lee and simon/river seemed very much to work, and that i totally forgot that gina torres exists (blasphemy!) and needs to be athena.
