I think it is about time for a friends list cut. I find myself getting behind on my flist far too often these days, and I find that a lot of the stuff (when I do catch up) shows how much my interests have diverged from people or that we've never really connected.

Part of this is my emphasis these days on action and doing stuff as opposed to being passive and just treading water. I'm really busy working out and studying for my GRE and it is making me not have time for my social life in the flesh let alone online.

Of course I do most of my fandom stuff at work but I need to work on focusing more on work at work. I'll still be around every day... but I want to make sure that the time I spend on lj and in fandom feels satisfying and productive instead of like a lot of blah.

I have been doing fandom stuff. It's just been mainly ficathons and such so I can't post about it yet.

I hope you won't cut me, because I do enjoy talking to you on LJ (pity international IM went wanky on me last summer).

I'm still watching Buffy and Angel - mid 5 & 2 season - and it's awesome! I love Spike with all my heart, and Angel without Buffy is so much more digestible. I quite like him actually :D

I definitely have no plans to cut you. I enjoy yours posts and we talk and we are into a lot of the same things.

Isn't amazing how much better Angel is on his own show?

I know the feeling. I've found that I just can't participate in fandom and have the social life, work life, time to excercise, etc, that I want.
