1) If you like either Sarah Silverman or Matt Damon at all: you'll want to watch this.

2) This weekend we were at the mall and we went to the Cheesecake Factory and I indulged and had my beloved Fried Macaroni and Cheese (really rich mac and cheese rolled into balls and covered in breading like mozzarella sticks) and a Georgia Peach(both beautiful and delicious). So many strikes against my diet and or health but so perfectly wonderful at the same time. If you ever end up at a Cheesecake Factory you really do want to try both.

3)

I think my heart just ground to a halt, just looking at the image of deep-fried mac and cheese. I mean, it died happy, sure. But goddamn! :)

I know. It is like my most sinful indulgence in life. But it is so good. Also when you are smart you share it with a friend and then it is only 2 of them. I suppose you could split it 4 ways but you'd be left wanting more I think that way.

Heaven is a place where it is good for you to eat this stuff.

1. I haaaaate Sarah Silverman, but even I thought that was totally hilarious when I saw that last week. Matt Damon is the best sport ever.

2. I usually get a Georgia Peach when I eat at the Cheesecake Factory, too!

3. The funny thing about voting in this poll is that I don't watch any of these shows.

1) I have really mixed feelings about Sarah Silverman. Like usually her stand up is pretty alright to me but the songs make me want to die but this was just so great. Which basically is a testament to Matt Damon = Awesome. Also it's been stuck in my head for two days now.

2) They are sooo good. I mean all their drinks are good but I don't really think anything can top the Georgia Peach. That and the fried macaroni are totally the appeal of the place to me, even though it's not like they don't have other good stuff.

3) The good thing about icon polls is that it isn't really necessary. Have you ever tried watching Bones though? I think you'd probably really like it if you haven't. It's one of those shows that is sort of infectious and you start watching because it happens to me on and then one day you realize you are totally in love with.

1. What made it really funny for me was the running joke: "Apologies to Matt Damon, but we ran out of time!" (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20175789,00.html) I mean, even if it hadn't been as great as it was, it would have been funny just because of that.

3. I watched the pilot (which was all right -- the mystery was based on that missing woman who possibly had an affair with a Senator?) and was sort of vaguely interested in watching more, but at the time I had sooo many other procedurals I was watching that I just wasn't interested. I only watch The Closer now, so I have been meaning to try again. Someday!

1) Indeed. It has now morphed with "Scotty Doesn't Know" in my head (which is ironically appropriate).

3)I definitely recommend. The first few episodes feel a little overdone on things like the music but that clears up quickly and it's a show with a lot of heart as well as the procedural aspect. Every last one of the characters gets real development and the relationships between all the different characters are really believable and interesting. It's also just really good at balancing interesting, dramatic, funny, and touching.

That picture just made me die of starvation, a little.

I apparently like all your funny icons; you know I would have voted for the human womens if I had two choices.

Me too... even though I JUST had it Saturday. I am considering trying to make a slightly less caloric version at home. It would still be bad for you of course but maybe a comprimise.

I am always tempted to vote on all of those too. It's because there is something satisfying about cleverness as opposed to just PRETTY!

We could use Annie's. I just bought some last week.

Honestly, the pretty ones are the ones I swap in and out a lot; if I just need a "Jim" or "Dr. Jones" icon it's easy to replace, but funny ones last. I think if you look over my icons most of the ones that are the oldest are funny ones.

I feel like Annie's isn't saucy enough. It needs enough sauce to stick together. I could make it from scratch pretty easily though. Just using 2% milk instead of cream will make a huge difference fat wise.

Yeah. My oldest icon at this point is this Heathen one you made back in fall of 05.

Yeah, I know it's easy to do from scratch; was just thinking about my Annie's and how much I want it.

This is my oldest icon, made in college. I only have six icons older than the Heathen, and I know I got all of them before I moved here so that's at least 2005. Three of them are funny, and all six of them have text and specific purposes.

How about we have Annie's tonight? (Always wants Annie's)

There is text on 5 of my 6 oldest icons. The only one without text is this one... which definitely has a specific purpose. Icons 4, 5, and 6 are from Buffy, Angel, and Firefly respectively.

That sounds good. We can put tuna in only half of it. (Also, boy is around tonight too.)

This is my oldest Office icon. It's dorky but I made it in the first flush of fandom fever. I've kept swapping in different Firefly icons at different times, but now only have two; I had no Angel icons until I put a Fred on in recently, and I am very unhappy with my Buffy icons but don't quite know how to rearrange them. I need to choose specific characters I want (Buffy is in all three and I'm happy with none of them, and how do I not have Giles?), but it seems overwhelming to go search them out at various journals.

We also should watch Spaced or Black Books I feel.

It's cute though.

My system is to keep newsletters that link to icon posts that get crossed to communities every day and I just scan for good ones. I need an Ilyria icon though and don't have one.

ps. This is also my 3rd oldest icon.

Mm, come to my house and watch Spaced. Yes.

I did that once with Buffy and STILL got overwhelmed with all the journals to comb through. I need at least Giles, Willow, Tara and Dawn, and maybe Anya and Spike and Xander and Oz, and all I have is Faith as Buffy, three Scoobies, and Faith n' Buffy. It's weird.

Uh. This is my newest icon? Which I might have watched on loop for a while?

I am pro this plan. At about 6ish?

Should I just start linking you when I find posts that have good icons of those people?

Also that's why I leave the friends icon upload feed on. So I can look when they have good ones and look at the person's stuff.

This is my newest icon. I might toss it soon because it's not as awesome as the Umbridge one.

*Not* voting for Angel because I love, love, love them all. You have some of the best Angel icons I've seen, and they're all absolutely necessary. Yes!

(I want a Lilah icon... And more Wesley icons, possibly)

That's the hard part. I mean there were 5 seasons and I've been collecting icons for years. So it's like a polished collection.

(I fully support this. If you look at my icon crediting some of the people I have icons from had many other good ones so that might help)

SO hard to choose the best of Bones icons! In the end I went for the first one.

And my second choice for best Buffy would be "Can I play too?".

Clearly I have a hard time choosing myself... thus the having so many and trying to manipulate my friends into eliminating for me. Next time maybe I will do clicky boxes instead.

I was so excited when I got that icon because it was the first Dru icon I felt like was going to really get used a lot and stick... like I had pretty ones before that but this one just clicked better.

I can't believe I was the only one to hold it down for Wes/Lilah! I love them.

That Matt Damon/Sarah Silverman thing is the best. I love Matt Damon so much.

Me too! Thus the two icons. I think next time I will give people ticky boxes.

Also a huge WORD to that. Saturday we were watching Dogma (which we had to go out and re-purchase because Jeremy's copy magically disappeared/was lent out and never returned) and I was remembering how much I love him.

It's a good thing that there is no cheesecake factory near me. My heart would probably have stopped by now.

The BTVS were so hard to choose from. I like them all but particularly the Faith ones. And Get In Human Womans is so spectacular.

There's one by our nearest mall (about half an hour) and I have the hardest time not going there whenever I go shopping at the mall. Luckily I usually split things with friends or mine probably would too.

It's always so hard not to have a billion faith icons.

I stole the Human Womens icon from [livejournal.com profile] carrielh who stole it from another friend. It was originally made by [livejournal.com profile] pandacineaste. It always brings a smile to my face.

Also awesome (especially if you read Dino Comics (qwantz.com)) is [livejournal.com profile] sophia_helix's crossover icon for that and Doctor Who. (http://userpic.livejournal.com/61319773/112758)
