I know! That excited me immensely. However, doing away with the season-long mystery in favor of three mystery arcs makes me a little concerned about the format of the show.

When I first heard that I was concerned and dissapointed.

The more I think about it the more I think it might help though in getting rid of the problem this season has (aka too many things going on and getting dropped for months only to be picked up and we aren't evensure what's related to what)

Just like you, the more I think about it, the more I understand and think it might even be a good idea. But I still think season-long arcs are fantastic, although this season's is a major jumble because so many people are involved, and we don't even know for sure whether the bomb was meant for the limo or the bus.

I am still sort of hoping that Veronica will be preoccupied with Aaron Echolls over the course of the season, but everybody I've talked to think he's going to die in the finale, so.

Not to mention, I still live in this fantasy world where Aaron Echolls didn't kill Lilly Kane. :)

I am hoping that the mini mysteries will still be connected in some way so the show will still achieve a continuity and building action but just be better organized.

I think last week's episode made it hard to live in that fantasy... at least for me
