Yesterday I watched Entropy... The Spike/Anya shipper in me was ridiculously giddy and felt like huge chunks of the episode were fanfic I would have written if it was not canon. 2 1/2 seasons of waiting finally paid off somewhat. My ship makes sooooo much sense.

So you used to raise hell with your demon prowess? And you were really good at it. Now you're disempowered and taken for granted? Drown your sorrows... in sex.

It just makes so much sense... they have so much angst to bond over and GAH. It's totally the ship that got me thinking of non canon pairings in the fandom.

one of the things that makes joss/buffy so great is that there is canonical evidence for like every single ship you could ever possibly imagine on that show. you know, like at least one major scene you can point to. it's like a fan's dream.

Indeed. There is obvious subtext... or even supertext for every ship ever. Of course we all think that there is canonical reasoning for our ships always but in Buffy it's like Joss totally put it there.

I'm a die-hard Spuffy, but Spike and Anya really were adorable in Entropy. It didn't work for me so much in season 7. Spike was a little too subdued around Anya then, and she came across as too domineering. Or something *g*

Anya and Spike just make so much sense to me with the previously big and bad and powerful and now just lovesick for a scooby and sort of wanting to have the power back and sort of having changed too much to ever go back to their old ways.

I'm totally a person who considers ships on their own merit and not what they'd do to other ships I like though (see Firefly)

I like her but dont love her! I preferred her more in her appearances in Angel and the last series of Buffy rather than before

The more I think about Faith, the more I love her. Her motivations and transformation just make so much sense to me, and I guess I sort of identify (not that I've killed anyone or stabbed my friends in the back).

Willow?

Yeah she is an amazing character but I reckon I would have liked her more if she'd been in it more! I think she would have done well as a season character in Angel

Faith would have fit in so well in Angel... seriously.

Willow suffers from the "she's so lovable and that blinds characters in the show and out of it to her shortcomings" symdrome.

See I have huge mountain sized issues with Xander. Basically every time I get over something he did that pissed me off he does something else that makes me angry all over again.
