finals! weee! NOT!
Dec. 5th, 2005 09:09 am1) If I were ever to actually write my novel it would be in an anti-naturalist style. Critiquing my own writing yesterday made me notice how much I am about meaning of things and not about little details and methodical description of every little event.
2) Dear Professor,
Some of us have to commute. Also some of us have finals after yours. If you are only going to use half the final period alloted to you at the ungodly hour of 8AM on a Monday morning, please use the second half so that those of us who commute and have finals supposedly right after yours do not have to sit around waiting for their next final for an hour and a half, when they only got a few hours of sleep plus a half hour nap in their car this morning because they had to leave the house at 6AM to make sure to be to your stupid final at 8. 8 is the first final slot... no one is going to have a final before that and no one wants to be up at that hour... so if you are going to use half of your 8-10 slot... use the 9-10 bit and not the 8-9 one. Everyone will be glad you did...even people who don't commute and don't have other finals today.

3) Yes I decided not to finish my last paper last night because my scumbag father decided to be useful and offer to turn it in on Wednesday for me (when it's actually due) so that I won't have to drive back out here if I don't turn it in today. I was just too tired and the paper was not writing well and Bad News Mike was bothering me and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dearladydisdain was not online. So I went to bed at 2 and got 3 hours of sleep before I had to get up at 5 and get dressed and drive here to school. I got here at 7:15 and napped in my car until 7:45 and then I went to the dumb short final and now am at the computer lab in the library wasting time because I have to be at my playwrighting final at 10:30 and I was supposed to meet up with my friend at 10 but I am out early.
4)It is possible I will return to fannish things someday but right now I am just in a real life mode so deal or defriend or whatever you feel the need to do.

I have OCD tendencies people... and they DO NOT react well to little changes from the norm like this. What are they trying to do, give me a heart attack?
In other news... hello new friending frenzy friends! Welcome to my little lair of insanity, bitching, and obsessing. Tomorrow I will be at work. Anyone who has been reading my lj for more than 5 minutes can tell you this means posting and polls and probably unnecessary and uncalled for amounts of comments. Tomorrow this will probably include a response/commentary on the latest VM episode. This ljing-at-work habit is the reason for my color scheme choice... which you may have notices is extremely bland and ugly; this makes it blend in nicely with legitimate work at work, if my coworkers glance over and see my screen.
Also tomorrow I have to write a draft of my one act play for my playwrighting class. I should probably do that instead of lj but I won't, then I will whine and bitch and freak out about it later... and probably make more firefly icons and work myself up to writing actual space hufflepuff porn. I also foresee lists... if you are lucky I will not post them publicly in lj but I promise nothing.
