1) You find yourself worrying that there might not be enough vegetables in your diet

2) When you are invited over by someone, you find yourself asking if there is anything you can bring.

3) You find yourself asking people to use a coaster.

4) There's been dessert in the house for a few days, and you haven't eaten it yet.

5) Your birthday no longer excites you.

6) Your "work clothes" start to outnumber your socializing ones and/or you have to to laundry because you are out of boringly modest and work appropriate shirts, not because you are out of things you think you look cute in.

7)Highschool students start to look like children.

8) The restriction on your activities is whether you can afford it instead of whether your mom will let you.

9) Your peers start getting married and it's not scandelous.

10) People in stores start calling you miss or mam.

Oh man, I was at Claire's the other day buying earrings and the saleschick kept calling me ma'am. Claire's, which caters to preteen girls for beck's sake! Am I ma'am now simply because I am no longer a tween? Or because I am THAT adult looking? Scary.

1,2,3,6,7,8, and 10 are all true of me, sadly. *weeps*

I still have a wtf moment when people my age get married or have kids, even though I know it's not too young for those things anymore.

On 8 I was thinking about things like "oh I want to take off to Europe for a month" more than "I want to go out tonight".

But yeah... it's scary isn't it... to realize we aren't teenagers anymore.
