Weird Weather

So it's been over 100 F this last week. 106 yesterday I believe. And this morning I wake up to my alarm and I realize I haven't had my sleep disturbed (usually both the heat and the light make it a battle to get any sleep after 5 or 6). I think wow... I must have been really tired. Then I go to open the windows and notice it's all grey and coolish outside and am like...huh? I walk out to my car and... it's fucking raining. Not like heavily but definitely it's happening. Fucking wierd California. I know in other parts of the country summer rainstorms are the norm... but here they happen maybe once every few years.


ETA: Now it's sunny and back to like 80-85 F.

i would rather be cold cause it requires snuggling to get warm. But I grew up in Minnesota, I love the cold! LoL

See I was born and raised here. I've grown more tolerant of the cold but what i really hate is the grey and the dark

I don't mind rain as much as the just like let's be grey and look like we might rain and never give ariel any sunlight *has mild SMD*

and i'm thinking of grad school in the northeast...sigh
