So we know that Weevil (and his cousin) live with their grandmother. We know that he has a niece (Ophelia), and we witness a bunch of younger kids also hanging around Letticia Navarro's house but no adults. What kind of conclusions do you make about that? What's your story about the family situation, beyond what's actually in the show itself?

So this post is for juliana78 who isn’t on my friendslist but took the poll anyways (am guessing through friendsfriends since she’s on herowlness’s friendslist). She asked only for one thing: Veronica Mars, fic, Logan/Veronica.

Well as you all know this throws me into quite the tizzy because I boycott Logan/Veronica fic. But I said I’d do posts for everyone so I will write Logan and Veronica drabble… even if it’s not particularly shippy:

He pulls her into the bathroom and for a moment Veronica thinks he’s trying to rekindle the past; these counters and walls remember all too well. In a way he is too; it had all started with a request for help. He’s got that kicked puppy look when she says that it’s a bad idea and there’s no way in hell she’s finding that boarding school for him, like she’s blowing him off, like she’s letting him down. He’s the last one left though: Lilly dead, Duncan on the run; she can’t bear Logan running too, at least not yet.

On my latest poll... which not so very many people have taken. I have gotten 2 write in votes for me to write Logan/Veronica. This makes me wonder if some of my lj friends even read my journal. Anyone who has been here more than 5 minutes should know that I boycott even reading Veronica/Logan fic. It's not because I hate the pairing in canon, I totally enjoyed the latter part of season 1 as much as anyone, but because fandom is totally monomaniac about it. There are days in the vm_navigator where literally every fic linked is Logan/Veronica... and that's not because the editors are biased but because that's what's posted. Dear Fandom, GET OVER IT. Or it not, at least could you respect my choice to strike? There are a ton of great characters on Veronica Mars... and I am glad to see that recently there's been more Logan/Weevil (my OTP) and Veronica/Weevil (my guilty pleasure) out there. Yes fandom, there are other characters than Logan and Veronica. Yesterday I posted Veronica/Clarence Wiedman and a few people even read it (although most of my commenters did so anonymously because I guess it was a secret shame to like it?). I know fandoms are always dumb, each one in thier own special way in addition to general patterns, but this is my soapbox and honestly fandom you have killed Logan/Veronica. Good job. Also: LoVe...little ship names are always bad and yours makes me want to throw up.

In other news... hello new friending frenzy friends! Welcome to my little lair of insanity, bitching, and obsessing. Tomorrow I will be at work. Anyone who has been reading my lj for more than 5 minutes can tell you this means posting and polls and probably unnecessary and uncalled for amounts of comments. Tomorrow this will probably include a response/commentary on the latest VM episode. This ljing-at-work habit is the reason for my color scheme choice... which you may have notices is extremely bland and ugly; this makes it blend in nicely with legitimate work at work, if my coworkers glance over and see my screen.

Also tomorrow I have to write a draft of my one act play for my playwrighting class. I should probably do that instead of lj but I won't, then I will whine and bitch and freak out about it later... and probably make more firefly icons and work myself up to writing actual space hufflepuff porn. I also foresee lists... if you are lucky I will not post them publicly in lj but I promise nothing.
